ohDEER is the leader in all natural deer, mosquito, and tick control.
We will celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2017.
People prefer our all natural methods of keeping deer from munching on the plants on their property, and keeping families and family pets safe from the bites of ticks and mosquitoes, some which carry disease.
Yes, for sure, you can be out in your yard while ohDEER is also on your property applying its all natural repellent solutions and applications. Those solutions and applications contain no harsh chemicals or toxins that can irritate you or make you sick.
We will say this, though – and come right out with it – at least once a year there are certain deer that should not be discouraged from visiting your yard, or your house.
No, we will go as far as suggesting that these deer be invited on to your lawn or even the roof of your home.
Actually we are talking about one team of deer, a team of a particular type of deer – the type is reindeer (Rangifer tarandus).
And not just any reindeer – but a special … very special … reindeer: flying reindeer.
These flying reindeer, every year, and only on one night – the nocturne of Christmas Eve and into Christmas morning – are work reindeer who pull a sleigh on a global journey through the sky.
There are always eight deer – the same reindeer, for they never age – who pull the sleigh; they work in four rows of two.
On nights that are stormy or particularly overcast there is a ninth reindeer (also ageless) – one with a glowing red nose – that helps illuminate the path.
This red-nosed reindeer flies lead and is tethered to the rest of the team.
It is a round trip journey from the North Pole.
No, the sleigh is not driverless. This is not science fiction or make believe.
You need a driver.
That driver is a love of the world, among the kindest and most benevolent of men – his name is Santa Claus (he does not age either).
That sleigh that Santa commandeers – the sleigh that the reindeer pull – is loaded with toys for good boys and girls.
Those special reindeer have names. Oh, yes they do.
The names of the main eight are Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen.
And that reindeer with the red nose? His name is Rudolph.
It perhaps will never be explained how this trip is completed in one night, nor how Santa and the reindeer make billions of toy deliveries along the route.
Scientists have postulated that this miraculous exercise in shipping and logistics has something to do with nanotechnology and parallel universes.
It is known though that these remarkable deer – these reindeer – perform their job flawlessly, always.
It is also for sure that these reindeer, in ways that cannot be fully or wholly calculated, command smiles and lift hopes, elicit laughter and launch joy.
So be assured –and ohDEER will not get into the specifics here – that our solutions and applications, by our design, have no effect on Santa Claus’s reindeer.
ohDEER wishes all Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!!
