Protect the pets and people you love with natural, mosquito and tick spray.

Mosquitos and ticks have always been annoying: The tick-ick factor, mosquitos keeping itchy kiddos up at night, and making good-natured dogs irritated and restless. But that’s not the real problem.

Mosquitos and ticks have become a public health concern.

Mosquitos and ticks are now disease vectors, transmitting illnesses to human and animal hosts, from Lyme disease to Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) and even West Nile virus. And our canine and feline friends can add heartworm disease to that list. Worse, these dangerous little buggers can get you without you even noticing. All-natural mosquito and tick repellent is critical to enjoying your backyard safely.

Get back outside with all-natural mosquito and tick spray.

Annual Control is the safest bet

CONTROL

ohDEER’s Tick & Mosquito spray kills pests on contact, eliminating most within four hours and most of the rest within 24 hours.

Every four weeks, spring-fall

CONTROL+

In addition to spraying, we add an additional tick deterrent: a granular solution along the perimeter of your property that ticks hate to cross.

Every four weeks, spring-fall

ANNUAL CONTROL

Ticks don’t die in the winter. They just go dormant, often reawakening (very hungry!) on a warm January day. This offers everything in the Control+ treatment, but year-round.

Every four weeks, year-round

Before we hired ohDeer, our puppy would come inside with at least 1 tick every time he strayed into the woods around our house. It was miserable. After an initial spray we immediately noticed a reduction, and then Jay organized for a top-up treatment. Since then we’ve kept regular 1x month treatments and don’t have issues with ticks. And just before hosting our first bbq this summer, they made sure to squeeze in another top-up treatment to help make sure our guests and their dogs wouldn’t have to worry about ticks during their visit. We’ve really appreciated their professionalism, responsiveness, and just generally making things easy for us to enjoy our new home. Jay and his technician, Ryan, have been so helpful.

“Emailed ohDeer and got a response within 2 hours. A technician was in the area and was at our house the same morning. Diagnosed our issues with deer eating the arborvitae and was able to treat our trees (and our neighbor’s trees as well) on the spot. We were quoted a reasonable price for treatments. Very happy the spray is all natural. Couldn’t ask for better, more professional service. Relieved that we found a solution to prevent the deer from eating our trees.

We have our two youngest grandchildren here with us often and, primarily for that reason, don’t wish to have them pick up ticks playing in our yard. Over four years now our youngest is the only one who had a tick and he got that laying down in the field beside our property owned by Conservation. Prior to having ohDeer spray we often picked ticks off of both kids. Their service is great!

Since we started using OH DEER, we have seen and felt almost NO mosquitoes! Before starting the service, we pulled a few ticks off our puppy. Now, none! I love that the application is environmentally friendly, not poisonous for our puppy and wildlife and dries quickly. We live on the edge of wetlands and across from a state park. This has worked amazingly well!

I was skeptical at first but the product they use is so effective! We have dogs and a small child and it is nice to have peace of mind knowing their products are safe as well. Our yard was full of ticks until the first treatment from Oh Deer and we then had a tick and mosquito free yard all summer long! Also the owner and staff are very nice and have great customer service! It is worth every penny! I have recommended them to my neighbors and friends and family. We will be sure to use them for years to come. Very satisfied!!!

SAY “HELLO” EVERY FOUR WEEKS.
Actually, you don’t have to be home during our treatments, but our technicians will always say “hello” and provide helpful tips. Our spraying season is March through October, but mosquitoes follow the weather, so we’re here when you need us.

Where we spray

We spray the perimeter of your property, extending 6-10 feet back into the woods or tree line and turning over leaf litter where ticks love to live. We also spray 6-10 feet vertically into tree branches and leaves, where mosquitoes live. If you have a fence, we’ll spray around it. We spray around your house; around all high-traffic areas such as pools, swing sets and patios; under decks and porches; and anywhere else moisture can collect, as well as around all vegetation in the interior of the property. Treatments are most effective when lawns are cut weekly and all standing water and leaf litter are removed.

What’s in our Tick and Mosquito Spray Control products?

(We don’t hide behind unpronounceable ingredients.)

Want to know what makes our formula so effective — and great smelling? Here’s how each ingredient contributes and works together to help keep pests in their place (off your property!).

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
LEMONGRASS OIL:
Lemongrass oil contains citronella, a natural insect repellent that works by masking odors that attract insects so it’s harder to locate their human or animal target!
GERANIOL:
This plant-based compound is made of geranium and citronella and, like lemongrass oil, interferes with a tick’s ability to locate its host.
CASTOR OIL:
Bugs hate both the scent and texture of castor oil.
SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE:
A common ingredient in dish soap and shampoo, SLS helps the repellent spread evenly across surfaces to ensure proper distribution.
CORN OIL:
Corn oil serves as a “carrier” for the other active ingredients, ensuring even application and adhesion.
INERT INGREDIENTS:
WATER:
We use fresh water to dilute the repellent so it’s easier to apply.
SOAP:
Soap is needed to emulsify the oil-based active ingredients in water for consistent mixture.
OLEIC ACID:
This fatty acid found in olive oil acts as a stabilizing agent.
1-MONOLAURIN:
This sounds scary, but it’s a naturally occurring compound found in coconut oil, and mosquitoes and ticks hate it!

Still seeing pests?
We’ll respray at no additional charge.

There’s no such thing as a yard with zero pests, but if you’re seeing more than a few between sprays, let us know, and we’ll come back out.
