Prevent deer from eating my flowers and plants! Wayne is the technician who applies deer prevention to our property. Wayne always has been GREAT … timely, communicates with me about what he sees and about what I have observed. This now is the 2nd year I have been using his services. Two years ago a neighbor clear-cut about 5 acres of his land, which is next to my home and yard. Therefore, the deer lost their habitat and came to my home and yard and were feasting on my plantings and flowers. I was heartbroken when I came home one day and saw that my large perennial gardens had been eaten down to stubs. I did not want to harm the deer nor my 2 dogs who run free in my yard; so Wayne has been spraying something which the deer do not like to smell or eat. I am very happy!

We’ve used ohDEER for a little over a year now and we live in a heavily wooded area. We have a dog who loves the backyard and we knew living here would pose a risk to ticks. Nothing will ever be 100% protection, but we knew we wanted to spray our yard with something that was going to be a lot safer for him. We recently caught more than the normal amount of ticks on him so we reached out to ohDEER asking if they could spray the fence line a bit more on their next scheduled visit. Come to find out they ended up showing up for a respray the day after I told them! I was so grateful that this company is so responsive and helpful when it comes to their customers. David Mulcahy joined the ohDEER team in 2014 after a decade in a family-owned business, looking for more out of life.  David joined Kurt in 2006 wrapping plants to control deer feeding during school breaks. After watching ohDEER in the subsequent years expand, it was time for David to make the leap into entrepreneurship.  Joining ohDEER in 2014 opening ohDEER South Shore  & ohDEER Cape Cod in 2016. David has settled in Duxbury, MA with his wife Keri, and two sons Wyatt and Tripp.

2024 celebrates ohDEER South Shore’s 10th year in business! Our HQ in Carver has recently been renovated to better serve our employees, customers, and the community. Our goal is to provide opportunities to the community through employment and our services so they can Enjoy More Time Outside.

Our team is how ohDEER South Shore is able to provide you the freedom to Enjoy More Time Outside. From the field to the office, in person or virtually the team has grown through the years with the same mission, to serve all clients as we did in 2014 with David in the Truck.
