Since he was a little boy growing up in Weston, Massachusetts, ohDEER founder Kurt Upham has been fascinated by animals, especially deer. In 2006, he began experimenting with an all-natural deer control formula that would keep deer away from his neighbor’s apple trees without harming them. (He also loves animals.) Word-of-mouth quickly spread, and people began seeking out “that deer guy.” And ohDEER was born. Today you’ll find ohDEER fans up and down the Eastern Seaboard. The only non-fans? Deer, mosquitos and ticks. But Kurt can live with that.

We created Take Initiative Check Kids (T.I.C.K.) to make it easier to help protect the children in your community from Lyme disease and tick-borne illness. This includes FREE spraying for preschools with our All-Natural Tick & Mosquito Control. We also give out kid-friendly materials and activities they can share with their parents.
Like kids, dogs are outside a lot, exploring the world. We want to help keep our furry friends safe and happy with all-natural sprays for homes, vets and doggy day cares. Our T.I.C.K9 program includes free educational materials for their sitters and “parents.”
Some seasons are worse than others! Damper weather means ticks and mosquitoes like to stick around. And we don’t want that! So if you’re still seeing these stubborn little pests within two weeks of a spray, we’ll just come back out and spray again, no charge!
